We were taking down the Kanban board that we use for weekly stand-ups, and I suddenly felt inspired to repurpose some of the blue painters tape that had previously been used to designate the “swim lanes.”

I thought it was pretty cool, and quickly announced to anyone within earshot that it was the finest contribution I had made at the company to date. The boss man said I missed my true calling.
